Celebrating 5 Years of the Oviedo Scoop Shop!

Our Oviedo Scoop Shop is turning 5! Join us for a fun-filled day of activities and a sweet treat! On January 18th - With each ice cream purchased at the Oviedo Scoop Shop you will receive a coupon for a FREE SINGLE SCOOP on your next visit! Mr. Richard, beloved local children's musician, will be performing LIVE from 12:00-1:00 pm! Buckaroo, the mini horse, is making an appearance from 1:15 to 2:15 pm - stop by for a photo! Lastly, we'll have a Magician from See Magic Live on site from 6:00 to 8:00 pm circulating the shop, inside and out, with live magic and illusions!

Cops ‘N Cars for Kids!


January 25, 2025 | 10:00AM - 4:00PM | Oviedo Mall

This event is a fundraiser for the Oviedo-Winter Springs Optimist Club.  This is the largest car show in Central Florida with over 200 of the best classic and modern vehicles.  In addition to the car show, there is a huge turnout from law enforcement and fire departments from around the state with speciality vehicles, helicopters, and K9 units. Plenty of family fun including bounce houses, a huge array of vendors, food trucks, trophies.  Car show music provided by DJ Don from Cruisin Orlando.  Spectators are free.

????Overall sales in 2024 decreased by 7.1% with a total of 28,321 sales. Single family home sales decreased in 2024 by 5.3% for a total of 22,216 sales compared to 23,464 sales in 2023.

????At the start of the year, inventory was recorded at 8,217 – 4.78 months of supply. Supply continued to rise in the following months. In November 2024, inventory was recorded at 11,604 – 6.43 months of supply. This was the first time since February 2011 that the Orlando area witnessed a balanced market. (The real estate market is considered balanced when there is 6 months of supply.) Closing the year, inventory was recorded at 10,049 in December – 4.67 months of supply

????The overall median home price in 2024 was recorded at $385,000, an all-time high and increase of 3.9% compared to 2023 when the overall median home price was recorded at $370,500.

????Interest rates decreased from 6.7% in November to 6.5% in December. 

????New listings dropped, with 2,510 new listings in December, compared to 3,185 new listings in November.
